The members of One Direction dressed up as different characters for their new music for the single "Best Song Ever" and they definitely turned some heads. Though Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Niall Horan were all pretty funny as different characters, it was Zayn Malik who stood out. The singer was dressed in drag as "Veronica, the sexy assistant" and Zayn's girlfriend Perrie Edwards of the girl group Little Mix apparently "loved" her boyfriend in the role!
All of the One Direction boys had some fun with their characters, but it was Zayn who probably had the most fun. At one point in the music video, Harry Styles starts singing and flirting with the assistant, which was definitely very comical.

So when Edwards told her Twitter followers to check out the new One Direction video, she made sure to address the fact that her boyfriend was dressed in drag.

It looks like Perrie will support her boyfriend no matter what he wears! It's a good thing, too, because their relationship is hopefully going to be permanent considering Malik's recent tattoo of Edwards.
Don't worry, Edwards supports the tattoo as well.
"It is weird," she admitted to MTV News, "But it's nice that every time he's away from us, he just has to look and I'm there on his arm."
"He wanted to do like a punk rock- ish comic character," artist John James Garancheski III explained. "Like a girl that was kind of comic'd-up and had a little bit of a punk rock look to her. So we took a couple of images and put them together."
Though she thinks it's weird, the 19-year-old might be looking into a tattoo (or a few) for herself! According to her fellow Little Mix member, Jesy Nelson, Perrie might be getting inked soon.
"Both Perrie and [other Little Mix member Jade Thirwall] want tattoos but it's whether they pluck up the courage to do it," Nelson revealed. "I feel like they might chicken out."
