The audience at Saturday's 2015 Budweiser Made in America Festival felt "Crazy in Love" with Beyonce as she kicked off her headlining set in Philadelphia with a slow, sultry rendition of the hit before launching into the fierce and original "Crazy in Love" track.

The 34-year-old singer who just celebrated her birthday on Friday, looked back to her days in Destiny's Child, performing some of the well-loved girl group hits like "Independent Women Part 1," "Jumpin' Jumpin'," "Say My Name" and "Survivor." "Shout-out to my girl Kelly, I love you. My girl Michelle, I love you," she said during her anticipated headlining set, Entertainment Weekly notes. "If you survived bad relationships, if you survived illnesses. When it gets tough, that's when you work harder."

Throughout her time slot at the annual event sponsored by husband Jay Z, Beyonce kept up with the one major theme often associated with the pop phenomenon--female empowerment. A dancer preformed a special routine while Maya Angelou's "Phenomenal Woman" jolted through the speakers. Recent quotes from MMA fighter Ronda Rousey also echoed over the audience, concerning "do-nothing chicks."

"The kind of chick that just tries to be pretty and be taken care of by someone else," Rousey's audio said. "That's why I think it's hilarious if my body looks masculine or something like that. Listen, just because my body was developed for a purpose other than (sleeping with) millionaires doesn't mean it's masculine. There's not a single muscle on my body that isn't for a purpose, because I'm not a do-nothing (chick)."

Sporting a handful of sparkling and flashy outfits, the "If I Were A Boy" singer performed chart-topping solo hits like "Halo," "Drunk in Love," "Diva," "XO" and "Single Ladies" along with the joint Nicki Minaj track, "Feeling Myself," E! Online reports.

The two-day event also saw performances from J. Cole, Modest Mouse, The Weeknd, Meek Mill, Death Cab for Cutie, Future, Big Sean and more. Saturday's gig marked Bey's first time on stage in months since she last entertained at the Key of Life in February.
