The most recent guest on Taylor Swift's wildly popular tour in support of latest album, 1989, was "cool kid" Sydney Sierota of Echosmith. They performed Echosmith's biggest hit, "Cool Kids," for the second time onstage during the tour. In June, the entire band played with Swift onstage in Philadelphia. Last night (Sept. 19), Sierota joined her in Columbus, Ohio. Echosmith also opened for the well-known group, Twenty One Pilots, the same night.

"What a great night. We just finished our set opening for @twentyonepilots then raced over to jam w/ @taylorswift13," Sierota tweeted shortly after the set.

“My buddy @sydneysierota was as magical and fantastic as always tonight in Columbus! Love her so much @echosmith,” Taylor tweeted back to Sierota.

“Taylor is so sweet,” Sydney gushed to MTV backstage in June after their set in Philadelphia. “Whenever people ask how she was and how it was being with her, what I always say is she is exactly what you hope she is. You know what I mean? How you always see that she’s super sweet, super great with her fans, she’s super personable and makes you feel like her best friend immediately - that is exactly what she’s like.”

Of the performance, Sierota said, “Obviously performing was a dream. We’ve been huge fans of her forever. Getting to sing with her in front of 65,000 people was crazy. Walking down that run way I was like ‘Never done this before, but whatever!’ It was a great time. It felt magical.”

Swift also paid homage to her country roots in Indianapolis (Sept. 16) and brought out The Band Perry for a duet of “If I Die Young.” Sam Hunt, Little Big Town and Kelsey Ballerini have also joined the country turned pop star onstage during the tour.
