When it comes to tabloid news, it's hard to open up a magazine or read a website without finding one of the Kardashians or Jenners taking up a slot. The family has managed to become one of the most talked about bunch in Hollywood. Kendall Jenner, the second youngest daughter from the dynasty, has kept a low profile when it comes to drama and exposing her personal life. In a recent interview with Women's Wear Daily, she spoke candidly about growing up in the spotlight and learning about her dad, Caitlyn Jenner's, secret when she was a kid.

This year alone has been an emotional roller coaster for the 19-year-old model. Caitlyn, formerly known as Bruce Jenner before her gender transition, debuted her new look this summer on the cover of Vanity Fair. In partnership with E!, Caitlyn released a television documentary series called I Am Cait, where she chronicled important moments she experienced after making the transition. Fans were invited into her new world as she embarked on a fulfilling new life as a woman.

While each member is digesting and accepting Caitlyn in their own time, Kendall admits she's known about her father's struggle with identity since she was a child. Despite knowing about Caitlyn's transgender status, adjusting to the new lifestyle is still quite challenging for her. She cites one of the hardest and most confusing parts about addressing her dad is the use of pronouns, which she uses interchangeably depending on the point in time.

"It would probably be different for someone who didn't have to live it through the media," Kendall said to WWD. "But it's been a ride, for sure. It's an adjustment. It's something you have to get used to. But I've known since I was a kid. He never confirmed it to me, but I've known for a very long time. It's the same person. My dad says it herself sometimes, it's kind of like mourning the loss of someone, because it is. My dad is my dad, but he's not there physically anymore. But she lets me call her dad - that's the last little piece of dad I've got."

Out of all the Kardashian-Jenner sisters, Kendall is probably the least likely to be attached to drama when it comes to headlines. With younger sister Kylie making waves with her controversial body, a messy breakup between older sister Kourtney and Scott Disick, Kim's new pregnancy, and Khloe's ever-changing dating life, Kendall is happy with keeping her life private and considers herself the most exclusive person in her family.

Despite having a following of more than 58 million across her social media platforms, Kendall doesn't really worry what people have to say about her. Growing up in the public eye can force you to develop a thick skin at a young age, so that confidence mixed with the lessons she's picked up from watching her older sisters make mistakes prepared her for the life she lives today.

"My sisters raised me along with my parents, and Kylie and I got to learn from their mistakes, for sure. We'd watch them to learn about it before we actually got on the ride. My little sister and I make our mistakes, but at least we're aware of it, what you have to be careful of. And they taught me not to listen to what the media has to say about me. The tabloids write the worst, most unrealistic things you could think of, like I'm pregnant with my sister's baby."
