Little Mix may be best known for their biting, modern pop music, but on their new single "Love Me Like You," the British girl group gets soft and vintage-inspired. On Friday (Sept. 25), ahead of the new album Get Weird, Little Mix finally released its hotly anticipated track.

It's clear right from the start that Little Mix are pulling from the '50s and '60s girl groups of Motown right from the start, when the girls harmonize on a series of "Sha la la las" over sweet pianos. Of course, a modern element is brought in through some pounding percussion, but the bones of "Love Me Like You" are totally old school with charming pianos, a beat that just screams of days gone by and lyrics about some pure puppy love.

"Last night I lay in bed so blue / Cause' I realized the truth/ They can't love me like you /
I tried to find somebody new / Baby they ain't got a clue
/ Can't love me like you," the four girls sing in the chorus, praising their beloved man who "got that nasty." But, that's what they really want, after all.

"Love Me Like You" is the latest song to be released of Little Mix's new album Get Weird. It follows the release of lead single "Black Magic" and promo track "Hair." "Love Me Like You" is due to be the record's official second single.

Get Weird, Little Mix's third studio album, is due for release on Friday, Nov. 6.
