Here's Tay at Schermerhorn Symphony Center in December of 2011--showing off her Harmony Award from the Nashville Symphony.
Taylor Swift regularly gives her time to great causes, so her stopping by the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center on March 22nd to visit sick kids shouldn't have come as a surprise to anyone. While all of the kids were thrilled to meet the country songstress, it brightened the day for one 17-year-old girl named Shelby Huff in a huge way.

Taylor's visit with Shelby was captured on video, and while the memories will last a lifetime, the video will help her look back on their time together for years and years.

The conversation started with Taylor bringing lightness to the required hospital attire, saying, "I’m going to suit up in my really cool outfit right now," as she put on the bright blue mask and gloves required for Shelby's safety.

Once she was suited up, Swift started talking to Huff like they were old friends instead of strangers who just met. She told stories and cracked jokes, putting everyone in the room at ease so they felt like a friend was visiting, not a superstar.

Amazingly, Huff seemed to be completely calm and composed during Taylor's visit, but she admitted that she really wasn't the cool cucumber she appeared to be. "My blood pressure and heart rate like skyrocketed when she was here," the teen shared with NY Daily News.

Her mom was pretty impressed too. "We are still in awe, Taylor Swift is a class act all around, she was so sweet, compassionate, asked US questions," Huff's mom wrote on the Facebook page she set up to share Shelby's story.

Though Swift was only scheduled to be at the hospital for an hour, she stayed for five, bringing smiles to as many patients as she could.
