Foo Fighters, have covered yet another track in epic proportion during its latest tour leg. Not only did the "Something from Nothing" rockers recruit Ratt drummer Bobby Blotzer for their cover of Queen's classic "Tie Your Mother Down," but the band's own drummer Taylor Hawkins subbed in for Dave Grohl on vocals.

The show took place at the annual (and final) Love Ride in Castaic, California, on Sunday (Oct.18), where thousands of bikers gathered in support of the charity fundraiser which raises money for a number of different causes, including the Wounded Warrior Project.  The Foo's frontman Grohl appeared on his usual throne from which he has been rocking for the past few months due to a broken leg that was acquired during one of the band's performances.

Blotzer shared his own thoughts on the band's Facebook page, stating "I was happy to be invited out to see my long time friends Foo Fighters at Sunday's annual Love Ride in Castaic, California. They are truly one of the five star bands around and it was especially cool to be invited up to jam with them. They told me they had seen the new YouTube videos of RATT and that they thought it sounded great. I told Dave & Taylor that we would love to do some dates with them. Enjoy this cell phone video"

As pointed out by NME, Ratt is most known for their biggest hits "Round and Round" and "Lay It Down". Their latest album, 2010's Infestation, was the last before their current hiatus. Grohl and company will head to Europe next month to continue their world tour in support of their recent album, Sonic Highways, which was paired with an HBO mini-docuseries of the same name.
