Members of Team USA celebrate victory over Russia after the gold medal sledge hockey game at the 2014 Sochi Winter Paralympic Games March 15, 2014.
George Strait has long said that for him, it's all about his fans and on Saturday, he proved that beyond a shadow of a doubt. When Nikko Landeros posted on his Facebook and Twitter that he has been to both Russia and the White House and he wanted to complete the trifecta with a George Strait concert, George himself reached out and made it happen.

Landeros was a member of the USA Sledge Hockey team that represented the states in Sochi at the 2014 Winter Paralympic Games and took home the gold. Sledge hockey (known as sled hockey in the United States) was created in the early 1960s in Stockholm, Sweden at a rehabilitation center as a way to let those with physical disabilities play hockey.

George had two tickets waiting at the box office in Denver for his fan, who, by all accounts, had a high time at the show. He tweeted, "@GeorgeStrait thanks for the memories !!#TeamGeorge #usa #usahockey #Gold pic.twitter.com/Ui3GxfDZw8"
