Just like vinyl has become a preferred method of collecting music, cassettes are making a comeback and Blink-182 is quickly jumping on the bandwagon. The long-time pop punk group plan to reissue four of their studio albums including 1997's Dude Ranch, 1999's Enema of the State, their 2000 live album The Mark, Tom and Travis Show as well as their self-titled 2003 LP, Spin notes.

According to Diffuser, the limited edition cassette releases come via SRC Vinyl in three various designs for fans to choose from. The quartet of cassettes, priced at just $11.99 each, are slated for release on Dec. 8 and are currently available for pre-order of the SRC Vinyl official website. The reissues will tug at the heartstrings of die-hard Blink fans who have watched the trio of Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker deteriorate. Since the release of 2011's Neighborhoods and chasing their own individual projects, the band underwent insurmountable drama eventually leading DeLonge to became estranged from Blink's line-up after a harsh falling out.

After Barker and Hoppus joined forced with Alkaline Trio's front man Matt Skiba for a number of Blink-182 shows, the newly formed trio decided to continue on as Blink-182 with Skiba as DeLonge's replacement. In August, the three headed to the studio to record a follow-up to their 2011 endeavor and have since recorded five tracks including one titled "Pop Punk Cliché."

DeLonge has turned his focus to completing solo work but admitted that he wouldn't be opposed to reuniting with his former Blink-182 band mates. Explaining that they currently all want different things, the guitarist said it would "probably just a few phone calls" for them to continue on as a group.

Drummer extrodanaire Travis Barker recently unveiled a deeply personal memoir, Can I Say: Living Large, Cheating Death and Drums, Drums, Drums, which clues fans in on his drug addictions, the fatal plane crash he survived, how his children saved his life and the relationships he's been involved in.
