As millions watched, Ronda Rousey lost her UFC championship fight against Holly Holm with a brutal kick to the head. The fight marked the end of a winning streak that was completely unprecedented in women's MMA fighting and had positioned Rousey as "the most dominant athlete on the planet," according to The Guardian. Her star power helped to advance the popularity of the sport and earned her cameo appearances in films like Entourage and Furious 7. However, it is clear that after her stunning loss, Rousey will not be the symbol for women's UFC that she once was. Her loss prompted a number of articles and memes with a similar opinion. The loss also inspired the mockery of 50 Cent, who has landed himself in hot water over his social media presence in the past. On Sunday, 50 posted a series of memes aimed at the young UFC fighter, claiming that his friend and boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. made him post the pictures. The next day, they had mysteriously disappeared

Rousey's loss even prompted Muhammad Ali's daughter, Laila to tell TMZ Sports in reference to Rousey, "In order to be the best in the world, you definitely don't ever get beat up like that in your prime, period."

In one of the pictures 50 posted on Instagram, Rousey was seen lying facedown with former Mayweather opponent Manny Pacquiao on top of her. The photo was titled "Netflix and Chill" and was captioned, "LMAO :) yo I didn't make this."

The next image showed Apollo Creed's manager from Rocky reacting in horror to her loss. The image bore the caption, "LMAO FLOYD TOLD ME TO POST THIS, he want me to do the dirty work.

According to HipHopDX, "A third image shows comedian Bill Cosby on the telephone with the caption, "Hello? Can you please tell me what room Ronda Rousey is in and if she's still asleep?'"
