The 2015 American Music Awards just got another major name added to its performance lineup: Justin Bieber. In the wake of releasing his new album Purpose, on Wednesday (Nov. 18), it was announced that the "Sorry" singer will once again return to the AMAs stage.

In addition to his performance, Bieber is also nominated for two AMAs this year. His Jack U collaboration "Where Are U Now" is up for Collaboration of the Year against the likes of Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar's "Bad Blood," Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars's "Uptown Funk," Wiz Khalifa's "See You Again" featuring Charlie Puth and Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney's "FourFiveSeconds."

Bieber is a familiar face at the AMAs, he has won seven awards since 2010, including Artist of the Year twice. In total, Bieber has been nominated eight times. (The long time he lost was for Favorite Male Artist - Pop/Rock in 2011.)

He also appeared at the 2012 AMAs, performing "As Long As You Love Me" and "Beauty and a Beat" with Nicki Minaj.

Bieber is just one of many performers at this year's AMAs, which will be hosted by Jennifer Lopez. Coldplay, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis and Gwen Stefani have also recently been added to the AMAs roster. Other previously announced performers include 5 Seconds of Summer,Selena Gomez, Carrie Underwood, Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato, Pentatonix, Walk the Moon, Ariana Grande and  One Direction.

The 2015 American Music Awards will take place on Sunday, Nov. 22. The show will air on ABC.
