G-Eazy released his sophomore major label album When It's Dark Out two weeks ago and is continuing to push the LP with a brand new animated music video for the single "Sad Boy."

The animated video brings the sad and introspective song to life about the sadness and depression that G-Eazy sometimes has to face, despite all of the fame and fortune that has come with his career. The most frustrating thing that he tries to convey in the video is that everyone around him is having a good time and expect him to, but nobody understands that someone in his position could be sad.

"Gerald what you so sad for? / Why the hell you got the blues? / Everybody wanna be in your shoes / Gerald what you so sad for? / Everything ain't that bad / Name a reason that you got to be mad / Gerald what you so sad for? / Man stop acting like a b*tch / Forgot you're all famous now and rich / Gerald what you so sad for? / This is everything you asked for," he laments in the hook.

G-Eazy is gearing up to go on a world tour that will span the following five months. Over the first two months in North America A$AP Ferg, Marc E Bassy and Nef The Pharaoh will join him before heading down under for a few dates in Australia to kick off March. After taking April off, he will spend May in Europe alone, performing in cities like Berlin, Paris, Brussels, Manchester and London.

Watch the animated music video and go inside the mind of G-Eazy that isn't always so bright and happy.
