The Kardashian family Christmas card has grown into a tradition for the family and usually always features the same faces. But this year, the family photo holiday card took a different approach and is not what you'd expect. Check out the 2015 holiday card below.

The Kardashian Christmas family photo is usually taken every year and then displayed on a holiday card that they send and share among extended family, friends and their fans. The card usually has the matriarch of the family, Kris Jenner, and her Kardashian daughters, Kim; Kourtney and Khloe, and of course her Jenner girls, Kendall and Kylie. They sometimes would add the cameo appearances of their husbands and boyfriends like Lamar Odom and Scott Disick, but, according to EUR, the 2015 Christmas card is all about the next generation.

Posted on Kim Kardashian West's Instagram, the holiday card features the offspring of Kim and Kourtney with a caption that reads "CHRISTMAS CARD 2015: ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE."

The photo features Kim and Kanye West's daughter North, 2, and the three children of Kourtney and Dissick, Penelope, 3; Mason, 6; and their youngest, Reign, 12 months old.

Kourtney explained why they made this choice for this year's Christmas card on her official website, kourtneykardashian.com, writing, "Our yearly Christmas card photo usually has our entire family in it," she explained to the fans. "This year, we needed some extra joy, so we figured that a photo of ALL kids was the most joyful card there is! Merry Christmas and happy holidays!"

According to the site, the photo was posted on Wednesday, Dec. 23 although it's not clear when the photo was actually taken. With Kourtney's explanation stating that this year's card features "ALL" of the kids, one can assume it was taken before the birth of the newest addition to the family, Saint West.

The baby boy of "Kimye" was born on Dec. 5, weighing 8 pounds, 1 ounce, as reported by Time.
