Wife and mother, Kim Kardashian West has explained time and time again about the complications she's faced during both of her pregnancies. Well, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star recently revealed some more bad news via her website and app on Tuesday (Nov. 24). Kim and Kanye's unborn son is breech. She is currently exploring other options to avoid having a C-section.

In the wee hours of the morning (4 a.m. to be exact), the 35-year-old TV personality couldn't help but feel a little "anxious" about her upcoming delivery. Kim shared intimate news with her fans to update them about the status of her pregnancy.

Despite battling multilpe health scares like placenta accreta, possibly undergoing a hysterectomy after the birth of her son, and excessive weight gain, Kim has remained quite open about the ups and downs of carrying a child. While most breech births are delivered through C-sections (Caesarean), Kim's personal doctor informed her of some other options.

Thanks to Dr. Paul Crane, she realized she could still deliver her son vaginally. Dr. Crane, who once acted as Kris Jenner's doctor and delivered Kim, is one of the few doctors who still does the procedure.

"I found it very interesting that I do have this option to deliver a breech baby as opposed to just jumping into a C-section," Kim wrote according to People. "Obviously, if it's an emergency and for the safety of my son, I will get a C-section - but if I don't need one, I'd rather not."

A breech birth is when the baby's buttocks or feet are in the position to be delivered first instead of the normal "head-first" position. According to AmericanPregnancy.org, most health care providers do not allow vaginal breech births due to increased risks of morbidity and mortality, as well as, cord prolapse (when the umbilical cord drops out of the uterus before the fetus).

North's mommy admitted Kris nor her big sister Kourtney have ever experienced a breech birth. Already weighing in at seven pounds, she believes he just might be a little too big to move into delivery position. Kim hasn't completely given up hope yet, exploring all possible techniques to help turn the baby around.

"I lay practically upside down three times a day for 15 minutes," Kim wrote. "I play music in the right position and ice my belly in certain spots to get him to squirm out of the breech position. I even started acupuncture where I burn moxa (mugwort) on my pinky toe every day! I am even attempting hypnosis!"

For now, all the reality star can do is wait. No matter the outcome, Kim said she's ready to take on any obstacle thrown her way. The Wests are expecting to welcome their son around Christmas.
