Don Lemon has attracted plenty of criticism, but his show on CNN also attracts a lot of viewers, so it seemed like an ideal platform for Young Jeezy to speak out on the Black Lives Matter movement on Wednesday when he appeared to discuss his latest album. Take a look below.

While Black Lives Matter activists were protesting the killing of Jamar Clark by police on Wednesday at the Mall of America, Jeezy joined Lemon to discuss the movement, which he's always been a supporter of, and expressed concern over the "war zone" the streets have become.

Jeezy also spoke about Donald Trump and what he believes is Trump's reason for running for president: "his business, his brand." The rapper said he supported the two leading Democratic presidential contenders: "When I look at Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton, I see people that actually care about the people."

Jeezy has been doing his best to help his community stay positive throughout all the rough times. This week he worked with his foundation, Street Dreamz, to donate more than 600 toys to children in his hometown of Macon, Georgia. In July he relaunched the foundation and hosted a neighborhood clean up of Atlanta's District 4.

On CNN, Jeezy rolled out a clip of the video "Sweet Life." The single, which addresses violence and criminal justice reform, features Janelle Monae and is probably the most powerful track on his album. The song sheds light on violence and criminal justice reform.
