Before the year is up and everybody forgets about 2015, Cozz decided to release another track, "My Side." The Meez and D2 produced track has a simple beat that leaves Cozz to steal the shine.
The beat for "My Side" has a soulful, slow vibe, and Cozz matches it perfectly with his lyrics. Cozz harmonizes on the hook with the lyrics: "I keep my G's right by my side/They keep their piece right in their ride."

"My Side" is a look at what is to come from Cozz on his mixtape Nothing Personal, which is due to drop Monday. He announced the project with a video trailer release on Christmas Day and since then has released the tracklist:13 tracks and features from labelmate, Bas, Boogie, Corey C and Freeackrite. With minimal features, Cozz can show off his deadly lyricism. "My Side" will be featured on Nothing Personal.
The West Coast rapper was just featured on Dreamville's Revenge of the Dreamers II alongside labelmates J.Cole, Omen, Lute, Bas and Ari Lennox. He also performed at Made in America and was on the road with Cole on his "Forest Hills Drive" tour.
