As previously reported, Chris Brown has been accused of punching a woman in Las Vegas this past weekend. Brown, who has come under fire for his abuse of former girlfriend Rihanna, is making a concerted effort to clear his name of this recent accusation. Brown's representatives call the allegations "unequivocally untrue."

According to TMZ, Brown is planning to file a defamation suit against the woman accusing him of battery. The woman, Liziane Gutierrez, apparently spent time with Brown in his Palms Casino Resort suite. Gutierrez says she took out her phone to snap a picture of Brown, who got incredibly angry. According to Gutierrez, Brown punched her in the face as a result of her actions.

Brown seems to have taken this incident as an indication that he needs to keep his friends close, and enemies far, far away. He took to Instagram, saying "Keeping my circle small in 2016!... And I'm going to be hella rich after all the lawsuits I file from these crazy individuals who kep (sic) lying on my name." TMZ reports that Brown believes some in his entourage were responsible for inviting the unwanted guest into his suite.

Brown's manager, Mike G, also took to Instagram to express his frustrations over the incident. "Shame to the networks that gave this story life and this liar her 15 minutes," he wrote. "I don't know what's more despicable the news outlets making this a lead story or the false accusation who wants her nam printed as a victim on TMZ for false fame."

TMZ has also included a video featuring Gutierrez. Apparently, she is scared of death threats from Brown after his initial comments regarding the incident. Chris Brown alleges that Gutierrez has a history of making false allegations against celebrities, including Jason Derulo.
