The Internet may be buzzing about Kanye West's "Gold Digger" American Idol season 15 audition, but the show is out to find the next musical superstar. One day ahead of the final Idol series kicks off, the FOX show has teased its top 24 in a shadowy video where the hopefuls sing the American Authors hit "Best Day of My Life."

American Idol posted a 360-degree video to its Facebook of the top 24 contestants singing in a starry room with colorful backlighting, leaving the full faces of the contestants hidden. However, the silhouttes reveal a few distinctive shapes, including a few cowboy hats, afros, top knots and girls with long, straight hair. Clever viewers may just be able to pick out one of the top 24 singers from the show's upcoming audition.

The video of "Best Day of My Life" doesn't give away any distinctive solos, with at least a small batch of singers all performing at once. However, some voices are louder than others, once again giving clues as to what can happen.

What do we know? The top 24's voices blend together decently well in this a cappella rendition and one future potential star (at least) is in the group's midst.

The 15th and final season of American Idol will begin on Wednesday night at 8 p.m. on FOX. Though revealing the top 24 in a shadowy video may seem like to much of a giveaway, this is not the first time American Idol has done this. The show also teased the top 24 for its 14th season, which was eventually won by Nick Fradiani.
