Animal Collective has shared a psychedelic new video for "FloriDada," the lead single off its new Painting With LP, which is due out February 19th. Directed and produced by PFFR, the Brooklyn-based collective behind MTV2's Wonder Showzen and countless Adult Swim series, the potentially seizure-inducing kaleidoscope of colorful visuals is a fitting introduction to the forthcoming album.

The band explains that the video tells "an alien love story touchingly human and awash in Technicolor," Rolling Stone reports. In telling that trippy love story, it features a hand drawn Floridian peninsula as well as entire solar systems dancing to the track's tribal rhythm while two neon human-like beings engage in tantric feats; eventually joining the cosmic dance party.

The visuals engage a variety of mediums. Fans of PFFR's shows, including The Heart, She Holler and Xavier: Renegade Angel, will find its weird stylings familiar.

As Brooklyn Vegan reports, Bear in Heaven's singer Jon Philipot edited the video.

At the video's beginning, a preface cautions those predisposed to epileptic seizures that "Viewer discretion is advised - the video has been identified to potentially trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy." The visuals crescendo throughout until the end when that warning comes into full force with the final strobing manic minute.

In addition to its YouTube debut, the "FloriDada" video is scheduled to air during Adult Swim's weekend Toonami block on Cartoon Network.

As previously reported, Avey Tare, Panda Bear and Geologist of Animal Collective will embark on an extensive world tour in support of Painting With the same date the album drops with a gig at Philadelphia's Union Transfer. From there, the tour meanders throughout the world (including two sold-out dates in NYC at the end of February) and ends mid-May at the Starland Ballroom in New Jersey. Supporting the outfit on the tour are Ratking, GFOTY and Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith.
