Radiohead left fans itching for new music ever since they dropped The King of Limbs back in 2011. As of late, rumors have quickly circulated concerning a new studio album and a live return from the band that gave us hits like "Karma Police" and "Creep." Four years after their last string of shows in 2012, Radiohead have finally announced their live return and first European festival performances of 2016.

The legendary alt-rockers have been named headliners for Barcelona's Primavera Sound Festival from June 2 to 4, Switzerland's OpenAir St Gallen Festival on July 2 and Lisbon's NOS Alice Festival on July 8, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Back in October rumors began flowing heavily when the group launched a new company called Dawn Chorus LLP, leading fans to believe a new album was coming. Radiohead set up new companies just ahead of their 2007 album In Rainbows and 2011's The King of Limbs and it seems Dawn Chorus LLP can be followed up by an album of its own.

Guitarist Jonny Greenwood took to social media during the same month to reveal that Radiohead recorded a lump sum of their new album. "Lots has been recorded," he wrote, "and we're about to go through it all... to see if it's any good. And we HOPE to tour next year: no plans confirmed yet." Yorke has kept busy lately emerging himself in a life of sustainability and fighting for global change--he even performed at Pathway to Paris during the 2015 Paris Climate Change Conference.

Teasers of the new material or updates on the album have come few and far between but fans got a taste of Yorke & company when they released their alternative theme song for Bond film Spectre.
