Here's Tay at Schermerhorn Symphony Center in December of 2011--showing off her Harmony Award from the Nashville Symphony.
When the $4 million dollar Taylor Swift Education Center at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum opened up last October, Taylor told Rolling Stone that she wanted to do more than just write a check; she wanted to be involved. "We've been talking about different programs I can be involved in," she said. "I hate to call it a lecture because that sounds like I'm yelling at people, but we could do a Q&A talking to students here and a songwriters discussion would be really fun to have at some point."

While she didn't host a scheduled Q&A last week, she did turn an elementary school field trip into an experience of a lifetime. The singer dropped by the center while 4th graders from Lascassas Elementary were visiting. She chatted with the kids, answering question, posing for pictures and even performing an acoustic version of "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."

Giving back is hardly an unusual thing for the superstar. She regularly gives back to her fans by donating both her time and her money.
