The 58th annual Grammy Awards  kicked off in a major way with a powerful performance from Taylor Swift and one of her chart-topping hits from 1989. Swift opened up the show on Monday (Feb. 15) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California with "Out of the Woods."

Swift brought viewers "Out of the Woods" with the first performance of the night! Decked out in a glittery bodysuit and surrounded by a scenic background to match the lyrics of her song, the young singer gave the attendees a taste of what many of her fans got to see while she was on her infamous world tour.

This is a huge night for the 26-year-old Pennsylvania native. Swift received an early surprise before rocking the microphone: two Grammy wins. She snagged the Best Pop Vocal Album for 1989, as well as, Best Music Video for "Bad Blood."

The win comes as no surprise, giving viewers serious 'squad goals' with her female-dominated visuals. The songstress was accompanied by best friends like Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham, Cara Delevigne, Gigi Hadid, and more sporting badass alter-egos.

The night isn't over for her just yet. Swift is nominated in five more categories tonight, including Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (with Kendrick Lamar, Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year.

Taylor Swift is just one of many performers hitting the stage during tonight's Grammy Awards. She joins a long list of artists including Rihanna, Adele, Alabama Shakes, Justin Bieber with Jack Ü (Diplo and Skrillex), the Hamilton cast, The Weend, and more.
