Taylor Swift apparently hasn’t forgotten when Kanye West slammed her in his new song "Famous," declaring he should have sex with her because he made her famous. On Monday night (Feb. 15) at the 2016 Grammys, when she won Album of the Year for 1989, arguably music’s biggest award, she used her acceptance speech to snap back at the rapper.

“As the first woman to win album of the year at the Grammys twice,” Swift said in her acceptance speech. “I want to say to all the young women out there, there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame.”

She further said, “If you just focus on the work, and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you’re going, you’ll look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there, and that will be the greatest feeling in the world. Thank you for this moment.”

Swift bested many nominees, which included To Pimp a Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar, Sound & Color by Alabama Shakes, Traveller by Chris Stapleton and Beauty Behind the Madness by The Weeknd to take home the evening's biggest award.

While Swift may have taken home the biggest award, Lamar also won big with To Pimp a Butterfly and took home Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance. The two also collaborated on Swift’s “Bad Blood” song and video off of her 1989 album. Lamar was nominated for a record 11 Grammys this year, which included Song of the Year for “Alright” and Album of the Year. He also delivered a groundbreaking performance at the Grammys that will likely be studied by music critics long afterwards.
