Brooklyn indie rock band DIIV have announced a hash of new spring tour dates across North America in support of their new album Is This Is Are. The group already announced three-night residencies in Los Angeles and New York, in addition to European tour dates in March and April.

The new batch of tour dates begin on May 21 in Philadelphia and then ends in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on June 8. In between they will hit a mix of big and small markets on a nearly nightly basis like Dallas, Toronto, Louisville, Cleveland, Boston and Birmingham, Alabama.

The group are in the midst of their three night stand at The Echo in Los Angeles, which ends tomorrow night and then have two shows in San Francisco this weekend, before returning home to Brooklyn the following weekend for three shows at The Market.

To go along with the tour announcement, the group just covered Elliot Smith's "Ballad of Big Nothing" off of Smith's 1997 album Either/Or.
