These teams head into game 2 of the round of 32 even, but Spurs goalkeeper Michel Vorm is telling his supporters that he thinks they can advance.
"We have it in our hands," he told the Hotspur website. "We have to learn from the FA Cup and if we create the number of chances we created against Palace we would normally win, especially playing at home. Fiorentina are not a typical Italian team in many ways, they play good football and perhaps that will suit us better. We're back at home and we still have a lot of confidence. On paper, we have a good result in the away leg and now we have to finish it off at home."
Meanwhile, manager Mauricio Pochettino shared an update on striker Harry Kane, who is set to miss today's game due to a broken nose.
"We expect and hope he will be available on Sunday [to face Swansea]," he said in his pre-match press conference this week, according to BBC Sports. "Today he wasn't here as he is seeing a specialist about his nose."
