Three aspiring artists have been chosen by Big Sean, Sam Hunt and Lzzy Hale and the online music-loving community as the newest winners of the fourth annual 'Hyundai and The Recording Academy® GRAMMY Amplifier® program.' Earlier this week, five-piece hard rock band American Bombshell, R&B crooner Kirby Maurier and country gal Voice alumna Adley Stump.

The Hyundai and The Recording Academy® GRAMMY Amplifier® program asks rising artists to upload their song on the Grammy Amplifier website, and after a competition of who can get the most listens and social media shares, the massive field is narrowed down to 25 semifinalists and 10 finalists. Winners are then picked by highly regarded acts in each genre. This year, the superstar curators were Big Sean (rap), Sam Hunt (country) and Lzzy Hale (rock), who chose the eventual winners.

Maurier brings hard R&B to the table, with a boastful song that is about an unexpected treat: sweet potato pie. On the opposite side of the hard spectrum, there's American Bombshell, who dish out some pure, unbridled metal. And, just to lighten things up a bit there's the sweet and strong country tone of Stump, who wrote an ode to military spouses with the touching ballad "Stay at Home Soldier."

"It takes a whole lot of passion, commitment and conviction to put yourself out there, to enter a competition and to be judged," Hunt said in a statement. "There is no formula for making it in this business, but American Bombshell, Kirby and Adley have been given a tremendous opportunity to learn and grow as musicians. There's absolutely nothing that gives us more pleasure than to be a part of an initiative like the Grammy Amplifier program that gives these aspiring talents opportunities that will help them to develop their crafts."

So, what do they win? One of three major prizes: a studio recording session with a Recording Academy producer, a live performance showcase series opening for a noted artist, or the filming of a music video with a celebrated director.

2016 marks the fourth year for Hyundai and The Recording Academy® GRAMMY Amplifier® contest. Past winners have included CRAMER, Jessica Faith, Barnaby Saints and more.
