In a new interview, Rihanna addressed the Internet rumors that she and Beyonce have a rivalry, attempting to remove herself from that conversation that is swirling around the interwebs.

Rumors have been swirling that the "FourFiveSeconds" singer and Beyonce have a long-standing feud in the music industry.

In the interview the singer said to Vogue, “Here’s the deal. The Internet just gets so excited to feast on something that’s negative. Something that’s competitive. Something that’s, you know, a rivalry. And that’s just not what I wake up to. Because I can only do me. And nobody else is going to be able to do that.”

She further elaborated on her new album, Anti, saying, “I just gravitated toward the songs that were honest to where I am now. … It might not be some automatic record that will be Top 40. But I felt like I earned the right to do that now.”

Rihanna is slated to soon embark on a world tour for Anti according to NME and also had a widely publicized performance of “Work” with Drake at a gig in Miami this past week. She is also heading to Europe and slated to perform gigs in Glasgow, Manchester, Dublin and London.

In other Rihanna news, the singer also recently released a line of boots with Manolo Blahnik that were recently featured in British Vogue. The shoe collection featured names such as The 9 to 5, Dancehall Cowgirl, Rih-vi and Seas Salts according to USA Today. Inside the magazine, a photo of Rihanna is featured wearing her favorite shoe from the collection, which is The 9 to 5.

“The day I see a woman in the street wearing my shoes… I am sorry for that woman because I’m going to literally run after her, shouting, ‘Stop! Selfie! Who are you? Where did you get them?’ I’m going to have a moment!” she said to Vogue.
