Word has it that Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger is back in the dating game and seeing 27-year-old ballerina Melanie Hamrick. While he appears to be supposedly moving on from the unfortunate death of former partner L'Wren Scott – who took her own life back in March of this year – it seems not all are happy for the musician's sudden "rebound."
Jan Shane, Scott's sister, is speaking out and calling the rock star's actions "grotesquely disrespectful."
In a recent interview with The Mirror, Shane spoke about Jagger's alleged new flame, saying, "The more I think about it, the angrier it makes me. My sister deserves more respect." She then continued, "It hasn't even been three months since she died. I now believe he was a bigger part of her troubles than we knew about."
Earlier this month, Jagger was photographed holding Hamrick in his arms on a hotel balcony. The two reportedly met before Scott's passing at a Rolling Stones show in Toykyo. The picture sparked immediate rumors of the singer's leap back to dating.
"It doesn't surprise me at all," continued Shane. "I'm just really glad that L'Wren doesn't have to put up with him any more."
Elsewhere in the interview, Shane goes on to accuse Jagger of still going out with women as if nothing happened, claiming, "his life goes on" and "a huge part of our family is missing."
It's been said that Scott left her entire $9M estate to Jagger.
In the beginning of June, Jagger flew Hamrick to Zurich to stay with him when the Rolling Stones revived their European tour. Turns out we can probably forget about that word alleged, huh?
