The Rolling Stones have resumed their world tour following a break to mourn the death of Mick Jagger's longtime girlfriend, fashion designer L'Wren Scott, Rolling Stone reports.

Last night, the band took the stage for the first time since March at Norway's Telenor Arena, near Oslo. As the BBC notes, Jagger did not bring up Scott during the band's performance but did say he was happy to be back on stage. The band had rehearsed for a week in the Norwegian capital leading up to the comeback show.

They played a two-hour set full of hits such as "Satisfaction" and "Brown Sugar" to a sold-out crowd of 23,000. Jagger also spoke about the band's first performance in the city.

"We first played Oslo in June 1965," he said. "We played nine songs -- we've played more than that already!"

Swedish newspaper Goteborgs-Posten wrote in its review of the show that "condensation literally ran down the walls."

"Despite all the years, the size of the arena and the giant video screens, the Rolling Stones are still that little blues-rock band from the clubs in London," said writer Johan Lindqvist.

Back in March, the Rolling Stones had to interrupt their tour and reschedule their Australia and New Zealand dates following the news that Scott, who had been dating Jagger since 2001, had committed suicide.

Jagger responded to the news on his website saying he did not understand "how my lover and best friend could end her life this tragic way."

Next up for the band is concerts in Switzerland, Isreal and the Netherlands.
