The Gaslight Anthem is back and ready to get more raucous than ever. Today (June 16), the punk rock band announced it will be releasing a new album, titled Get Hurt this August while simultaneously unveiling the album cover, tracklist and a 40-second album teaser.

According to Radio.com, Get Hurt will be released on Aug. 19 via Island Records. The band, whose last effort Handwritten was released in 2012, is reportedly going in a different direction for its fifth effort, simultaneously becoming "heavier and more intimate."

The press release dropped today indicates the album will feature The Gaslight Anthem blending together all sorts of rock influences, ranging from folk to punk to Americana.

The album's teaser, fittingly titled "Get Hurt Teaser" makes this point well known, with a heavy rock riff echoing through the speakers before singer Brian Fallon's signature throaty, growling voice roars in over the steady, driving beat.

Get Hurt will feature 12 tracks on its standard version, including songs with titles such as "Helter Skeleton," "Dark Places" and the album's title track. A deluxe edition of the album will feature three bonus tracks, with iTunes orders coming with their very own song, "Have Mercy."
