After the Top 4 was revealed, fans are talking about who would possibly be the next American Idol for Season 15. But aside from that, fans of the reality show are also excited to see amazing performances from guest stars for the three-night grand finale which includes the return of Idol winners Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, Fox announced according to Entertainment Weekly.

On the last night of the three-day finale, Clarkson, who is the first Idol winner, and the Season 4 winner Underwood will come home to treat fans with a performance. Aside from the two talented singers, there will also be performances from other alums of the show like Jordin Sparks, Fantasia, Ruben Studdard, David Cook and Taylor Hicks.

The finale will kick off on April 5 with a retrospective from the current judges as well as former judges Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul. It will also include stories and behind-the-scenes from the former contestants and winners.

After a 90-minute sharing about their never-before-told experiences in American Idol, the Top 4 will have a live battle on Wednesday at the Dolby Theater. On Thursday, it will not just feature the performance of Clarkson and Underwood but will also be the moment when the Americal Idol Season 15 winner will be crowned, Deadline reported.

To recall, Clarkson returned to the show for an emotional performance of "Piece by Piece" that made Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez, and the audience cry. After her performance, the singer implied in a tweet that it will be her last time on the Idol stage.

"What an emotional night. Thanks @AmericanIdol for such a beautiful beginning & a perfect ending," Clarkson, who is heavily pregnant and is approaching her due date, tweeted, ETOnline reported.

But since she is the first Idol winner, it would just be right to see her on the last day of the show after 15 seasons.
