Despite the rumors of breakup due to the leaked video of Iggy Azalea's boyfriend Nick Young who admitted to cheating on the rapper, Azalea confirmed in an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show that her relationship with Young is okay and that they are still engaged.
The Australian rapper clarified that her brief hiatus from the music industry to because of her engagement adding that the Internet is a "weird place" where many made up stories surface.
“I got engaged. That’s going good,” she said according to ET Online. “We’re good. There isn’t [controversy] at home, just on the internet.”
DeGeneres then talked about the cheating controversy involving the video that D'Angelo Russell secretly videotaped which leaked on the internet, showing a conversation between him and his Lakers teammate Young talking about being linked to another woman, as previously reported on Music Times.
"I'm good now. I think there's just this really weird place on the Internet where ... we call them 'trolls' and there's just a lot of people that take great joy in saying really awful things to people," she said about her critics on the internet, Billboard reported.
The 25-year-old musician didn't just confirm that she is still engaged with Young but she also donned her engagement ring on her appearance on Ellen and also during the iHeartRadio Music Awards held this past weekend.
Aside from that controversy, Azalea also discussed getting plastic surgery on her nose and her breasts. The "Fancy" rapper did not hesitate to talk about the matter and was even proud of how it turned out.
“[I’m] very happy with it,” she said. “I think it’s a personal choice and anybody, man or woman, they should be able to make an informed decision and if you want to change something, then that’s up to you. I changed my nose, and I got boobs. I didn’t have boobs before. I just had nipples, now I have breasts. I thought it would be a good addition.”
