Ariana Grande delivered a fierce performance of her singles "Dangerous Woman" and "Into You" during the Billboard Music Awards but prior to that, she posed for the cameras on the red carpet -- where she tripped and almost fell before an interview.

Grande was wearing a blue Versace cut-out gown that made her appearance elegant, dramatic and gorgeous. Apparently, her dress is one of those that stand out in the red carpet but after posing for photos, the "Focus" singer tripped as she approached host Sibley Scoles for E! Live on the Red Carpet interview. Luckily, the host came to rescue her and helped her regain her balance, Mail Online reported.

"I almost broke my ass," Ariana joked to the E! News host before showing off her lovely gown. "Can we rewind? But that pony! You got to make it work."

The 22-year-old singer also expressed her gratitude to her fans because for the positive reviews she received for her Dangerous Woman album.

"It feels amazing. I'm so grateful for the response. Everybody has been all around positive and I'm not supposed to read things like that but I've been on Twitter just reading," she said during the interview. "It's been the most positive reaction to anything I ever put out. When you work so hard -- I'm going to cry."

The singer also promised her fans that she has some summery tunes for release like "Into You" and "Side to Side" and she is hoping that everyone will like it. They also talked about her musical impressions which was recently seen on Saturday Night Live.

"I think I developed an ear for different voices, different characters just by being around theatrical people. I don't know, it's always been something I do for fun, but I'm happy that everyone likes it," Grande said.

Grande was nominated for the Top Female Artist and Top Social Media Artist awards.
