The Meadows Music & Arts Festival may still be two months away, but it is preparing its fans with some extra info to get them all set for the early October festival. The Governors Ball offshoot has unveiled single day lineups, a few additional artists put on the bill like Twin Shadow, Pretty Lights and Thomas Jack and single say tickets that are on sale now.

The first day, Saturday, Oct. 1, will be headlined by The Weeknd, Empire of The Sun, newly added, Pretty Lights, Damian Marley, Grimes, Chromeo, ZHU and others.

The second day will be dominated by major hip-hop acts such as Kanye West, Chance The Rapper, Bryson Tiller, Mac Miller and Pusha T. The selection stays diverse with other names such as Kygo, The 1975, Cage The Elephant and The Temper Trap.

Single day tickets are also on sale now starting at $115 for a general admission pass and $260 for a VIP ticket. The general admission tickets are quite fair considering two-day GA passes are $230.

The two-day festival will take place in Flushing Meadows Corona Park near Citi Field in Queens, New York. The site was near where Panorama originally tried to hold their festival, but retreated to Randall's Island after local protests and permitting issues.

Meadows Music & Arts Festival is the second festival being put on by Founders Entertainment, the company behind by Governors Ball Music Festival. It was recently bought by Live Nation, which presumably has helped with financing this new event. It will take place on Oct. 1 and Oct. 2 featuring many of the artists that were unable to perform on the Sunday of Governors Ball that was canceled due to the threat of inclement weather.
