Odd couple meets reality TV is probably a more fitting description for the new VH1 reality cooking series starring rapper Snoop Dogg and lifestyle guru Martha Stewart but the network chose to describe  Martha and Snoop's Dinner Party as "the best party of the season."

When the announcement was made that 44-year-old rapper Snoop Dogg and 28-year-old rapper Wiz Khalifa were teaming up for The High Road Tour, in the United States and Canada for 33 dates, the only question that probably came to the minds of fans was, how much weed do you think they will smoke? Neither of the two are exactly shy about their love for marijuana and music so that pair makes sense but Snoop and Stewart?

According to the Monday Aug 8 VH1 announcement, these two have their own special bond that "goes way back" as relayed by the Doggystyle rapper, and viewers will get to witness that bond this coming Fall on their new cooking series.

The plan, according to the network, is "to exemplify America's fascination with food, entertaining and celebrity" all in one show and to do it in a dinner party type of atmosphere.

"We're gonna be cooking, drinking and having a good time with our exclusive friends," explained the Long Beach icon. And Stewart is equally as excited about the show's premiere stating in the video teaser that their "new show is rizzle, dizzle for shizzle."

The "Gin & Juice" rapper and Home Living expert have been friends for years and according to CNN, this won't be their first go-round in the kitchen serving up something special together.

According to the site, Tha Doggfather appeared on a 2008 episode of Martha Stewart Living where they made mashed potatoes and holiday brownies.

It makes you wonder if any special herbs or ingredients were used when making those holiday brownies because according Snoop, it was definitely a factor in coming up with the cooking series idea.

"How did me and Martha get together to do this show," Snoop addressed during the video teaser. "Glass of wine, herbs, tea, atmosphere," he concluded.

Multiple people had a hand in creating the new series including Snoop himself, along with Ted Chung for his company Merry Jane. Stewart & Kim Miller Olko for Sequential Brands and SallyAnn Salsano for 495 Productions according to VH1.

The series will premiere in Fall 2016.
