Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced their 2017 North American tour dates in support of the group's new album The Getaway.

Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue will support the group for the entire tour. Former band drummer Jack Irons will serve as an opener on the January leg.

The tour kicks off right after the New Year in San Antonio at the AT&T Center and they will stay in the center of the United States for the month of January. They will then keep the tour moving in February, performing in various arenas in cities like Boston, Toronto, New York City and Buffalo. The March leg will focus on the West Coast with shows in Seattle, Los Angeles, Denver and elsewhere. The tour will end on March 18 in Vancouver.

Fan club tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. local time. The general public gets a crack at tickets stating Sept. 23. Every ticket will be accompanied with either a digital or physical copy of The Getaway.
