Looks as if NBC's The Voice is about to get another star added to their cast. It's been reported by Extra that Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks will join Adam Levine's team on the upcoming seventh season of the singing competition, which kicks off on September 22.

Nicks will be joining the Maroon 5 frontman's team as a musical advisor. The news was confirmed when the show took to Twitter, announcing, "#TeamAdam it's time to welcome @StevieNicks to #TheVoice family!"

While the two bands (Fleetwood Mac and Maroon 5) are undeniably different in terms of genre, Levine's team did perform a wonderful version of Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide" during the show's season one finale.

Nicks won't stand as the only newcomer on the forthcoming Season Seven of The Voice. Joining the likes of Levine and fellow judge Blake Shelton will be the "Happy" crooner Pharrell Williams and No Doubt lead Gwen Stefani. The two will replace Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green. In speaking of the newbies, Levine said, "It was smooth sailing from the beginning. They are frighteningly good at it."

Aside from The Voice, Nicks is gearing up for a 34-date world tour with Fleetwood Mac. The "On With The Show" tour will begin on September 30 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and will welcome in keyboardist/singer Christine McVie, who has been absent from the group for quite some time. On the topic of returning to the band, McVie told Rolling Stone, "As the years went on, I had some deluded idea that I wanted to live the "Country Lady" life – basically hang out with my Range Rover and my dogs and bake cookies or something. I don't know what I was thinking, really."

Be sure to tune in for Season Seven of NBC's The Voice on September 22.
