Chance The Rapper and Jeremih are in the giving spirit this holiday season. The two Chicago artists have linked up to release a surprise nine-track holiday mixtape titled Merry Christmas Lil' Mama, which they have dedicated to their city.

The tape has an all Chicago cast of features from Hannibal Burress on "All The Way," Noname on "The Tragedy" and Lud Foe on "I Shoulda Left You."

The mixtape also includes a riff on Jackson 5's "I Want You Back" with "Stranger at the Table." There is production from Zaytoven, Bongo The Drum Gahd and more according to Hot New Hip Hop.

The mix is all about spreading the holiday cheer this season. It is chill and subdued, as they bring in some guest vocalists to coo in the hooks, while Jeremih and Chance rap about god, family, the holidays and their hometown Chicago.

On the smooth "Joy," Jeremih wants everyone to have a good time this season. "Baby let's light up the Christmas tree / Spike the eggnog with the Hennessy / Spread the / love that hit the coldest winter / Jingle bells is all I could remember / 'Tis the season we should spread the cheer," he sings.

Chance continued the holiday spirit on BBC Radio 1 yesterday where he put together a special mix that includes songs from the likes of Jackson 5, Donny Hathaway and Kanye West.

This is the first project from Chance the Rapper since his critically acclaimed Coloring Book and the first from Jeremih since Late Nights: Europe
