Gorillaz have announced a North American tour in support of their upcoming album Humanz. It's their first tour in seven years.

NME reports that the band is also gearing up to release Humanz on April 28th, a week after tickets for their tour go on sale. The new album reportedly features Grace Jones, Mavis Staples, Danny Brown, De La Soul, Pusha T, Kali Uchis, and Kelela amongst others.

Songs “Saturnz Barz,” (feat. Popcaan), “Ascension” (feat. Vince Staples), “We Got the Power” (feat. Jehnny Beth of Savages) and “Andromeda” (feat. D.R.A.M.) have already been released in anticipation of the album. The band also recently premiered their most recent track “Let Me Out,” with Mavis Staples and Pusha T.

The tour reportedly stops in musical hotspots Chicago, Toronto, Boston, Philadelphia, Quebec, Washington DC, San Francisco, New York, Detroit, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Denver, Seattle, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Miami.
