Swedish electronic production duo Axwell & Ingrosso kicked off the year with an eye-catching music video for "Dreamer" that's shot almost completely underwater.

The official music video of the duo's latest single is a visually arresting love story, but the narrative comes second to the striking way the video was shot.

Directed by Swedish-born Henrik Hanson, the story of "Dreamer" focuses on a pair of lovers trapped underwater, swimming and dancing gracefully around each other. The mesmerizing effect of the water and movements go perfectly with the lyrics of their first single of the year.

"We are dreamers together," the chorus of the song goes. "Always and forever, let's get high on believing. I can promise you, yes, I am a dreamer too."

At one point, the two bang on what seems to be an invisible barrier keeping them apart. Starting off as fully clothed in shirts and jeans, the models shed their clothing near the end of the song. In the end, the duo swim to the surface, finally free.

Production is masterful, as the video plays around not just with the movements of the models but also of the water such as ripples and bubbles. Shades of blue and red also serve to highlight certain parts of the song. There are a few shots of the models on the surface of the water, but otherwise, the entirety of the music video is underwater.

Hanson is an experienced director who is also known for his work with Chase & Status, Swedish House Mafia, Miller, and L'Homme Rouge.

To date, "Dreamer" is already making waves globally with more than 50 million streams. It comes after Axwell & Ingrosso's "More Than You Know," which became Spotify's most-streamed dance track last year.

The pair Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso, who formed the duo after the breakup of Swedish House Mafia in 2014, is signed with Def Jam Records. The "Dreamer" music video marks their first creative venture of the year. Coming up for Axwell & Ingrosso is Miami's Ultra Music Festival, which will be celebrating its 20th anniversary on March 23 to 25.

Ultra Music Festival 2018 in Miami is set to be a massive event capping off the Miami Music Week. The event will be composed of seven stages with the Ultra Live Stage hosting headliners that include Azealia Banks, Infected Mushroom, The Crystal Method, Tchami X Malaa: No Redemption, and The Wailers featuring Julian Marley.

There are even rumors of the Swedish House Mafia reuniting for the special anniversary festival.
