Jack White recently weighed in on DJ Khaled's song "Wild Thoughts." He said that it is similar to Santana's "Maria Maria."

During a recent interview, the former White Stripes front man also said that he has no idea what Khaled is doing.

"It was nice of DJ Khaled to sit down and write and perform and record that - that was good of him! He's an incredibly talented man. There's no doubt about that. He does so much!" said White.

DJ Khaled Performs 'Wild Thoughts'

In January, The Four: Battle for Stardom judge performed "Wild Thoughts" at the Grammys. Prior to his performance, Khaled said that a lot of people told him before that he will never perform at the awards show. Years later, he made them realize that they played themselves.

White did not appreciate Khaled's cryptic message at the awards show two months ago.

"He said, 'They told me I would never be on the Grammys.' Really? Like, 'Hey, man, like, I know you're headed to lunch, but I just wanted to let you know that you'll never be on the Grammys!" said White.

What Is DJ Khaled Doing?

Last year, Khaled was criticized after his fans wondered what his contributions to his music are. He said that his role is to bring out the best in all of the artists he works with.

"When I work with artists, I try to bring the greatness out of them. They're already great, but I want the greatest... I'm in Quincy Jones mode," said Khaled.

As of late, the music producer has not yet responded to White's comments about "Wild Thoughts," as well as his performance at the Grammys.

Jack White Drops 'Over And Over And Over'

White also made headlines last week when he dropped his song "Over and Over and Over" from his upcoming LP Boarding House Reach. "Over and Over and Over" was released 13 years ago for the White Stripes, but it did not make it to the band's album.

The singer decided to redo the track, and he will release it as part of his upcoming compilation.
