Grammy Award-winning country singer Maren Morris shares photos from her wedding to Ryan Hurd on Saturday, March 24, in Nashville, Tennessee.

The 27-year-old looked absolutely stunning in an unconventional, body-hugging, short wedding dress with white lace embroidery, a crystal-beaded belt, and a long, detachable trail. The dress was created by Nashville designer Cavanagh Baker.

According to People, the dress was modeled after the very same dress that her mother wore back in 1989.

"She was a badass and had this short wedding dress, so I sent it to this designer that I love," she shared. "I was like, 'If we can do a modern version of my mom's wedding dress just dreaming something up really cool but still throwback with her vibe, I would love to make that happen.'"

"My last turn home," she wrote on the caption of her Instagram photos. The line was a reference to a song she wrote for country music legend Tim McGraw

She once revealed that she met her now-husband while writing "Last Turn Home" from the 2014 album Sundown Heaven Town

"We were both at different publishing companies, and our publishers' job is to fill our calendars up, so they just randomly put us together on a write one day," she revealed in a previous interview. "It was the start of a wonderful writing relationship."

Meanwhile, Hurd posted a photo of himself kissing his bride.

On The Way To 'I Do'

Hurd proposed to Morris last year, during a Fourth of July weekend celebration at his family's lake house in Michigan. The "I Could Use A Love Song" singer had no idea what was about to happen back then.

She revealed in an interview with CMT Hot 20 Countdown that she was wearing sweatpants when she got engaged.

The 31-year-old singer-songwriter told Rare Country that the decision to ask Morris to marry him was spontaneous. He said he has had the engagement ring for a while and was just waiting for the perfect timing to propose. On that Fourth of July celebration, he said that he woke up and thought, "that was the day."

So he and Morris hopped onto a boat to be alone and that was when he asked her to marry him.

Morris announced their engagement on Instagram by showing off her uncut diamond ring.
