Three rock bands are preparing to shock their North American fans this summer with an electrifying tour that is expected to shake up the alternative rock music world.

The Third Revolution

Billboard revealed that Bush, Stone Temple Pilots, and The Cult would come together for one epic tour. To promote the tour, the three bands are expected to appear at an April 3 launch event sponsored by Monster Energy Drink. Bush, Stone Temple Pilots, and the Cult will all take the stage, and the event is expected to be showcased live on Billboard's Facebook page.

According to Rolling Stone, the trio will start the festivities at the Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee on July 18. Bush, Stone Temple Pilots, and The Cult will also hit several major cities including Detroit, the Woodlands, Toronto, and Albuquerque. The trio is expected to end the tour when they visit Phoenix, Arizona's Ak-Chin Pavilion.

To add to the excitement, the bands will be rotating their performance order at each stop. It is also expected that Bush, Stone Temple Pilots, and The Cult will perform full sets.

"It is with great honor and pleasure to know we will be spending our summer vacation on the road with the Gents from The Cult and Bush. Two great bands and more so, great friends. Also, to be there with you is even better. With love. See y'all soon," said Stone Temple Pilots' Robert DeLeo in a statement to the Rolling Stone.
