An online seller makes a mistake of printing a photo of Ed Sheeran on a plate commemorating the wedding of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle.

Over a month before the anticipated royal wedding, several merchants on Etsy have already started selling different souvenirs, from mugs to tea towels. However, one commemorative plate stood out from the rest simply because it used the photo of Sheeran as the groom-to-be. Yes, Sheeran is engaged and set to be married sometime in the near future, but not to the Suits actress.

Prince Ed Sheeran

ModernChintz on Etsy is a blue, white, and gold plate commemorating the marriage of Prince Harry of Wales to Markle on May 19. It also features photos of the supposed royal couple, although, next to Markle's gorgeous mug shot is the "Perfect" singer's smiling face.

According to the seller, the plates are selling really fast that they can hardly keep up with the demand.

Darren McGrady, the chef that served Queen Elizabeth and the royal family, shared the commemorative plate on his Twitter account.

The seller claims that the presence of Sheeran on the commemorative plate was intentional. The idea was inspired by commemorative plates back when Prince William and Kate Middleton got married in 2011. At the time, they used a photo of Prince Harry as the groom.

Those who really want to serve biscuits on a commemorative Harry and Meghan plate next month, the store, however, is selling chinas with the right photos. They also offer a plate with everything that represents the United Kingdom or one with newspaper photos of the couple imposed on an old William and Kate wedding plate.

Celebrity Doppelgangers

This is not the first time that people have mistaken the Grammy-winning singer for royalty. Suicide Squad star Margot Robbie once took photos with Prince Harry thinking it was Sheeran during a party hosted by model Suki Waterhouse.

Even the 32-year-old royalty acknowledged the resemblance. When a group of students had the privilege to meet him, Prince Harry heard a few of them discussing that he looks a lot like Sheeran.

A 12-year-old girl asked him then if he was the real Prince Harry.

"Yes," he told the visitor. "The other one is Ed Sheeran."

The "Shape Of You" singer will reportedly serenade the newlyweds during their reception next month.
