New evidence has been released surrounding the death of famous Swedish DJ, Avicii. Allegedly, it was reported that the music maker committed suicide.

Death By Broken Glass

TMZ revealed that multiple sources told them that the "Wake Me Up" DJ killed himself by using broken glass. Several insiders revealed that Avicii, whose real name was Tim Bergling, broke a wine bottle and used it to inflict a life-ending wound. However, the media outlet stated that it could not confirm where exactly the DJ stabbed himself. The reason was due to hearing conflicting reports from the Avicii insiders. One of the sources stated that Avicii inflicted himself on the neck, while another insider said that he stabbed himself in the wrist.

Rita Ora's Tribute

Former The Voice UK coach Rita Ora paid homage to her late friend during a performance in the Netherlands. On Friday, April 27, Ora stated to her audience how much the DJ changed her life and asked for the audience to join her for a moment of silence to honor her friend. Ora fought back the tears as she performed their collaboration, "Lonely Together."

Avicii's Family Speaks

Avicii's family, the Berglings, made a statement regarding the fallen entertainer. They stated that he struggled with finding happiness in life. His family also admitted that while he loved his fans, the spotlight made him very uncomfortable. Avicii's loved ones vowed that his music would keep his memory alive.

"Our beloved Ted was a seeker, a fragile artistic soul searching for answers to existential questions. An over-achieving perfectionist who traveled and worked hard at a pace that led to extreme stress. When he stopped touring, he wanted to find a balance in life to be happy and be able to do what he loved most -- music," said the family in a statement to CNN.

The Last Album?

Geffen Records executive Neil Jacobson noted in an interview that he was working closely with Avicii before he died. Jacobsen stated that the "Levels" musician was working on an album at his time of death. The music executive noted that the samples that he heard from the Swedish DJ were some of his best material in years. He also added that they were about to have a conversation regarding potential collaborators for the album. Jacobson said that if Avicii ever went to a club, he would only be there to check out the performers. The Geffen Records executive added that they were working with Avicii's family to release the album.
