Ariana Grande, Jimmy Fallon Play 'Musical Genre Challenge'

On Friday, Grande participated in the "Musical Genre Challenge" segment with host Jimmy Fallon. He was the first to randomly pick the song and genre he would perform. Fallon sang "Shape of You" in Ska genre with ease.

When it was Grande's turn, the singer did not disappoint. She randomly picked "Humble," which she sang in a Goth rock genre. Before singing the song, Grande first said that she will imitate Evanescence, and she did with so much emotion. At one point, Grande even dropped to her knees while singing.

Grande also shared some of the titles of her upcoming songs, namely "R.E.M.," "The Light is Coming," "God Is A Woman," and "Raindrops." Sweetener will serve as Grande's follow-up to her 2016 compilation Dangerous Woman.

Singer Gushes Over Her Grandmother

In related news, Grande also talked about her grandmother, Marjorie Grande, whom she fondly calls Nonna. She said that her grandma already heard the entire album, and "God Is A Woman" is her favorite track. Fallon also said that he loves Nonna so much, and they both greeted her during the interview.

The 91-year-old grandmother has been a huge support system for Grande. Last year, Nonna got a front-row ticket to watch Grande during her Dangerous Woman tour. Nonna's reactions to Grande's live performance had been captured and was shared on social media.

Nonna and Grande are so close that they even attended the Women's March together. They had been photographed marching at the rally while holding hands and wearing matching fur coats.
