Everyone's favorite steel-horse rider, rock star Jon Bon Jovi, is leading a group that is reportedly eyeing the potential ownership of NFL team the Buffalo Bills. The group has conducted a study that identifies three stadium-locations that would suit the team, however, the Associated Press reports that the team is not willing to negotiate with anyone planning to relocate the team before 2022 –– when their lease ends.

Bon Jovi is part of a Toronto-based group that has showed an immense interest in purchasing the Bills. Because of this, it is believed that should the group actually buy the team, they could move to Toronto.

The study conducted by the group, called a feasibility study, identified three potential stadium sites: two in Toronto and one waterfront location in Mississauga in Southern Ontario.

While the news has been reported, Jovi and partners Larry Tanenbaum and the Rogers family (of Rogers Communications), haven't publicly detailed their plans to purchase the team, which is why the anonymous source is just that. However, given the details surrounding the story, it could very well be true.

The AP also reports that Andy Bergmann, founder of the Toronto-based Wessex Capital Partners, is the man in charge of overseeing Bon Jovi's group's stadium plans. He has confirmed via email that his company has conducted studies to find a stadium, but that "nothing related to any specific site," has been done.

"We have undertaken engineering and design studies," he wrote. "All of our work has been about the generic site and whether it was more rural or urban. We are aware of the potential sites in the western NY and southern Ontario region, and are in fact meeting with two Buffalo area developers next week."

The Bills sale comes after the unfortunate death of Hall of Fame owner Ralph Wilson, who passed away back in March.

And while the Bon Jovi-led group has not announced plans to relocate the time, Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz tells the AP, "It is my personal opinion that any bid associated with the Toronto group has a long-term interest in moving the team to Toronto."

After news broke, the New York Lt. Gov. Robert Duffy made a number of comments towards Jovi via Twitter:

So, do you think the Bills could go to Toronto?
