In an Instagram post on Beyond Wonderland's page earlier yesterday, the organizers of the event invited everyone to join them in "Wonderland from the comfort of your own home." The caption accompanies an animated poster of the event, including details such as the schedule and guest list.

Following a call to its fans to "rave responsibly," the YouTube live stream is available on Insomniac's channel, which feature sets from major EDM acts including the English duo Jack Beats, DJs Audien, 4B, Dr. Fresch, Drezo, Kill the Noise, Loud Luxury, Monxx, Ookay, Mija, Party Favor, Saymyname, Svdden Death, and Wax Motif. The IG advert also teases "very special guests" to play sets for the live stream.

The virtual rave on the online streaming service is dotted with club calls paired together with reminders to keep everyone safe. On-screen tags such as "Sanitized hands up" and "Stay home| Stay safe| Stay Positive" regularly pop up on the stream.

Beyond Wonderland is an annual EDM festival organized by American event promoter Insomniac Events, best known for hosting the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), perhaps the largest EDM event in North America with offshoots in the U.K, Brazil, Japan, Mexico, and China. The event was the fruit of fans' clamor to return to the vibrant ambiance that they enjoyed in the past with the Nocturnal Festival, a local music festival also in San Bernardino.

The California festival features the different subgenres of EDM such as dubstep, house, trance, drum and bass, and ambient in separate stages. Additionally, interactive set pieces and installation artworks have also become mainstays over the years.

Visually characterized by its "Alice in Wonderland" set designs, Beyond Wonderland has been graced with household names in the electronic music industry such as David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Tiesto, and the late Swedish DJ Avicii who passed away in April 2018.

The virtual Rave-a-thon is the result of efforts to make up for the recently postponed 2020 Beyond Wonderland, originally slated for March 20-21 at the NOS Event Center in San Bernardino, CA. Instead, it will be bumped into a June 19-20 schedule at the same venue.

A few weeks back, events and concerts, including the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and the Stagecoach Country Music Festival started to get postponed one after the other due to growing fears over the Coronavirus pandemic. A representative for the NOS Event Center said that Beyond Wonderland is scheduled to proceed as planned in an inquiry by The San Bernardino Sun, a local newspaper, last March 11.

Aside from the virtual rave still ongoing as of this writing, EDM fans can also watch recorded live performances and archived footage from previous EDC festivals Las Vegas, Orlando, and Mexico as well as the Hard Summer and Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival until the end of March at Insomniac's live stream site.

Also, Insomniac says they plan to keep on releasing new content in its official YouTube channel. They will also keep on uploading fresh episodes of their Golf Cart Confessions - an interview series filmed backstage at multiple events hosted and organized by Insomniac last 2019.
