Chloe x Halle Invaded YouTube and Beyoncé

The young sisters are surely in perfect hands - with no less than the Queen Bey to hone them. Born and raised in Atlanta Georgia, Chloe, then 13 and Halle at age 11, started uploading their covers over the streaming platform, YouTube. The first song on their official channel was Beyoncé's "Best Thing I Never Had" in July 2011 that has now 5.4 M views.

Their angelic and beyond-their-age voices captivated the hearts of the viewers as they went on uploading more covers of other artists - Rihanna, John Legend, Adele, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, among others. Their channel currently has 1.17 million subscribers.

It was their cover of Queen Bey's "Pretty Hurts" that mesmerized the superstar when it was posted on Dec. 2013. At that time, Chloe was 15, and Halle was 13. The "Irreplaceable" singer shared their clip on her Facebook page with the caption "So amazingly talented!" The cover gained 18.6 M views as of this time.

Not to lose time and sight of great talents, Beyoncé through her record label, Parkwood Entertainment contacted the sisters two weeks after the video rocked the internet. In January 2014, Chloe and Halle signed a deal under her record company and the Queen became their mentor.

After a few years, the family moved out of Atlanta and settled in Los Angeles to be closer to where the action is. The duo launched their debut album "The Kids Are Alright" in March 2018 which both of them wrote and produced. The album earned them a nomination in the Grammys. They wrote the theme song of the TV show "Grown-ish" where they also were featured. The duo was opened "On the Road II" stadium tour of the power couple Beyoncé and Jay Z in 2018.

Chloe x Halle are thankful how Queen Bey allowed them to explore with their own creativity with their own music, they said in an interview with People in 2018. Halle said, "She's definitely put her footprint" and added "reminding us we can do anything we want."
