Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine released his new song "Stand Up" on Thursday, July 2. He collaborates with Shea Diamond, Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons and The Bloody Beetroots in making this charity song.

The trio sings about current issues such as police brutality, racism, and white privilege.

Among the politcally-charged lines of the song would be the chorus, which Reynold sings, "When I call the police/ Will they just kill me?/ Will they just kill you?/ When I call the police/ Will they just protect me/ 'Cause I'm white-skinned too?" The song then calls to "Stand up/ 'Cause you are standing for nothing/Just shut up/Cause your words mean nothing,"

Proceeds from the track would go to several organizations fighting for racial justice. Such organizations would include NAACP, Colin Kaepernick's Know Your Rights Camp, the Southern Poverty Law Center, and the Marsha P. Johnson Institute.

Interscope Records and KIDinaKORNER, according to Billboard, would also donate. The donation would equal the artists' royalties from streams of the track for the next three years.
